Coinbase is even getting into IPO subscriptions now—this time, Coinbase is really stepping up. After the crypto exemption, the market's expectations for Coinbase have completely shifted.
Today, $COIN launched an IPO subscription service, with the first project being Oura. Eligible U.S. users can apply for allocations at the offering price before the official listing. However, the actual number of shares you can get depends on the allocation results—there’s no guarantee you’ll receive any.
I think this move is worth paying attention to. Beyond just buying crypto, it gives users another reason to open Coinbase. For the platform, the key isn’t just the hype of a single IPO but whether they can consistently secure projects and retain users in the long run.
This is why I’m still keeping an eye on Coinbase.
