[Marvell Showcases First AI Data Center 2nm Optical Technology, Including 400G/lane PAM4] DeepTech TechFlow reports that on September 21, Marvell announced at ECOC 2026 the demonstration of the industry's first 2nm optical technology for AI data center infrastructure. A total of 38 advanced technologies were showcased, including the first 2nm 400G/lane optical PAM4, the first 2nm 800G ZR / ZR+ live demo with MACsec, as well as the first 2nm 1.6T ZR and lightweight coherent O-band demonstrations. Marvell did not disclose the production timeline or specific customers for these technologies.
