Although there was a bit of fluctuation, the weekend still passed relatively smoothly. The most important event this weekend was the tug-of-war between Trump and Iran. On one hand, Iran hinted that Trump might have hopes for negotiations, but on the other hand, Iran also suggested that the U.S. might launch a new round of strikes. Meanwhile, Trump’s own statements were more ambiguous, saying that the relationship with Iran is open-ended and that anything is possible. From a market perspective, returning to peace talks would be the best outcome. After the Fed and Japan raised interest rates, there aren’t many short-term bearish factors left in the market. There’s no critical data coming out next week either. Even though there are almost daily speeches from Fed officials, the hawkish tone is likely to remain the same. At most, they’ll signal rate hikes in the next two meetings. As it stands, the market has already started to anticipate a rate hike in October, so any weak data won’t change much. Personally, I think the market’s focus will still be on the U.S.-Iran relationship, U.S.-China relations, and the U.S. midterm elections. The relationship with Iran will determine the future of the Strait of Hormuz and U.S. inflation trends, while the relationship with China will impact tariffs, rare earths, chips, AI, and the global supply chain. Next week’s Trump-Xi meeting is very important. Even if it doesn’t yield significant results, as long as both sides are willing to keep talking and there’s no sudden increase in tariffs or export restrictions, that would already be good news for the market. Looking at it this way, as long as there are no unexpected events, Bitcoin and U.S. stocks should remain relatively stable. Just as long as Trump doesn’t make any shocking statements, things should be fine. Starting Tuesday next week, low buys for dual currencies will likely focus around $75,000. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets all in one place for trading.
