Actually, Binance's stop-loss works like this too. The market stop-loss you set and your actual stop-loss can differ significantly. Depending on whether you're going long or short, your actual stop-loss might be moved up or down by 0.5 to 1 point for execution. I remember back in April 2023, I once set a stop-loss expecting to lose $40K, but after the actual stop-loss, I ended up losing $100K. From 2022 to 2023, I kept getting hit by stop-losses repeatedly—just pure wear and tear—and ended up losing over $1M. This is also one of the main reasons I quit the crypto space.
