Chengming Technology pointed out that although Zhipu has publicly apologized for the 'silent upload of users' local repository data' by ZCode and claimed the issue has been resolved, Chengming Technology's independent investigation revealed that the upload behavior was automatically triggered and occurred in batches. It was not limited to 'code snippets' but included complete project source code, system architecture, version control history, database credentials, cloud service tokens, and employees' personal information, among other comprehensive archived files—far exceeding the scope of data collection stated in its 'Privacy Policy.'
