Hope it's another calm and peaceful weekend. The two most troublesome macro events recently have passed—rate hikes by the U.S. and Japanese central banks didn’t have much impact on risk markets. Although this outcome exceeded my expectations, as someone who holds bitcoin:native long-term, it’s definitely a result I’m happy to accept. The only regret is that I was too conservative earlier, which led to lower dual-token returns recently.
But in this highly uncertain market, being able to make money is good enough—no high expectations here. A lot of friends are saying the bull market is back, so prices are rising without any reason. I’m still pretty cautious about this view, though. That said, all the Bitcoin I bought in the past two years has now turned from losses to profits.
Next, my investment range will be around $75,000, as I mentioned yesterday. If prices continue to rise, I might temporarily set my new buy-in price near $80,000. For me, the biggest window of opportunity this time will be the three months following the midterm elections.
The biggest news today is probably Iran submitting new ceasefire conditions to the U.S. again. This time, the conditions are the lowest since the war started—just asking for a full ceasefire, unfreezing Iran’s funds, and reopening Iranian ports. Compared to before, the biggest reduction is the removal of war reparations and sanctions. Now it’s up to Trump.
