The sharp drop from the rate hike wave has passed, and the short-term market feels a bit more stable than midweek. With the U.S. stock market closed, the market is in a vacuum. The rate hike is settled, and there’s no data of the same magnitude next week. Trading volume will likely thin out over the next couple of days, so we can ignore any fake moves. 627 days into DCA, weekends are the trickiest because you’re tempted to find direction even when idle. If it goes up, you want to add more; if it dips, you want to pre-position for next week. In the end, you end up turning a fixed rhythm into impulsive decisions. I’ve made my buys for today—now it’s time to focus on life. For DCA, I only use OKX.
