This is insane value right here
an open source tool just automated the entire cross-platform video localization pipeline, and it's more complete than most paid versions of this.
it's called krillinai. one pipeline handles the whole chain: pull a video by url or upload it directly, transcribe with whisper, segment and translate with an llm for natural phrasing instead of stiff machine translation, clone a voice for dubbing, then automatically output both landscape and vertical cuts formatted for whichever platform you're targeting.
the platform list is genuinely comprehensive. bilibili, xiaohongshu, douyin, wechat video, kuaishou, youtube, tiktok, all handled by the same run.
the project's own documented demo is specific enough to be worth citing directly rather than repeating as an unverified personal claim: a 46-minute local video processed in one click, no manual adjustment afterward, no omissions, no overlapping subtitle segments, in their own words. that's their published result, not something i personally re-ran myself, worth testing on your own footage before trusting it fully.
runs on windows, linux, and macos, with both a desktop app and a server deployment path if you want it running unattended.
i can't independently confirm a specific current star count, worth checking the live repo before repeating one, this is real, active, and growing fast regardless of the exact number today.
