[Survey: U.S. Investor Sentiment Drops to Lowest Since 2025]
BlockBeats News, September 19 – According to the weekly survey by the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII), investor sentiment has further deteriorated as oil prices remain high and the Federal Reserve implemented its first rate hike since 2023, dropping to its lowest level since 2025.
The latest survey released by AAII on Friday shows that 53.3% of surveyed investors are bearish, exceeding half. Only 28.8% of investors are bullish, marking the lowest level in a year. Charles Rotblut, Vice President of the American Association of Individual Investors, stated in a press release that, overall, the difference between the number of market bulls and bears has dropped to -24.5%, a level described as "exceptionally low," and has remained below the historical average of 6.5% for nine consecutive weeks. This is also the lowest level for this indicator since May 2025.
The latest survey also reveals that more than half of respondents have cash allocations above normal levels, indicating a cautious stance among investors. Among them, 19.1% of respondents stated that their cash allocation is "far above normal levels." [Original Link]
