After returning these days, the more I watched some innovations on Robinhood, the more interesting they became. Defi's Renaissance really has a chance to be brought back. The innovation around V4 Hook, which relies on the trading volume of Stock Meme to generate revenue, can overcome the fatal flaw of the old generation Defi, which relies on issuing coins to subsidize liquidity but leads to a long-term decline in coin prices. Stock meme will become a new Pool 2/Token Emission/ICO The principle is to distribute stock tokens as widely as possible to holders without realizing it, while deepening the liquidity of stock tokens, through the crazy rush of individual investors into memes, trading, and speculation. The previous problem with DeFi was: By issuing coins to subsidize liquidity, the price of coins has been declining for a long time. The biggest difficulty lies in how to grasp the timing of the rise in coin prices caused by the entry of retail investors and the beginning of subsequent weakness and decline. But now, relying on real trading volume to generate transaction fees, which are then fed back to protocol tokens, the DEX, lending, leveraged tokens, LP lending and other tracks may finally be able to run smoothly. The protocol token may indeed continue to rise instead of initiating a permanent decline at the end of the Ponzi scheme.
