Spent a week back in my hometown, came back to rebuild my positions in the crypto space, and guess what? Still made some money Never be afraid of missing out, everyone. As long as your principal is intact, opportunities in the market will never disappear. Right now, I’m personally paying attention to whether this macro cycle can still follow the old logic of rate hikes/cuts. On one hand, the continuous breakthroughs in AI and its large-scale commercial applications might have a profound impact on productivity, capital expenditure, corporate profits, and the structure of inflation. On the other hand, the contradictions between U.S. debt levels, fiscal deficits, and interest rates could make future monetary policy and liquidity conditions even more complex. How these factors will ultimately evolve is honestly hard to conclude at this point. But at the very least, I think we can’t overly rely on the easing/tightening experiences and mental models formed in past cycles. The future macro environment might differ significantly from the past, and the traditional linear framework of “rate hikes—rate cuts—liquidity—risk assets” may not fully explain the upcoming market dynamics. So for me, what’s more important than predicting every market move is managing position sizes, controlling risk, protecting my principal, and going with the flow. Don’t fear missing out, and don’t lose your principal because of FOMO. As long as your principal is intact, opportunities will always be there.
