[Bitcoin Treasury Companies' Average BTC Holding Cost Around $80,500, Only Increased by 5,900 BTC in the Past Three Months] BlockBeats News, September 18: According to Glassnode data, Bitcoin treasury companies have only increased their holdings by approximately 5,900 BTC over the past three months. At the current spot price of around $76,400, this is valued at approximately $451 million. Most of the purchases came from Strategy, including 4,603 BTC acquired in late August. In contrast, during the same period last year, Bitcoin treasury companies increased their holdings by over 100,000 BTC, with 89,000 BTC purchased in July 2025 alone. The average holding cost for Bitcoin treasury companies is approximately $80,500, about 6% higher than the current spot price, meaning they are still in an overall unrealized loss position. According to Bitcoin Treasuries data, 181 publicly listed companies currently hold approximately 1.22 million BTC, with Strategy holding about 845,050 BTC. Other demand indicators show mixed performance. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have attracted billions of dollars since early August, but the cumulative net inflow year-to-date is still about $1 billion short of turning positive. The Coinbase premium index has been in negative territory for most of the time since May, while the total stablecoin supply has remained relatively stable between $300 billion and $310 billion this year, with no significant recent growth.
