In July, Uniswap started working on this Permissioned Pool, launched it in August, and then yesterday the SEC mentioned this type of AMM Permissioned Pool in its regulatory exemption for tokenized stocks. Although it's not hard to implement, this is currently the most technically aligned with the SEC's description, and the market generally agrees, so it's already being reflected in the price.
