[KKR Raises U.S. Treasury Yield Forecast, Believes Fed Will Maintain High Rates for Longer]
On September 17 local time, it was reported that KKR & Co. raised its forecast for long-term U.S. Treasury yields, stating that it expects the Federal Reserve to keep its benchmark interest rate at levels higher than previously anticipated due to Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's concerns about persistent inflation. According to a report sent to clients, the U.S. private equity firm predicts that the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield will reach 5.1% by the end of this year, up from the previous forecast of 5.0%, and will reach 4.9% by the end of 2027, higher than the previous forecast of 4.7%.
