[NVIDIA Commits $2 Billion to Brookfield AI Fund]
According to a report by Jinse Finance on September 18, investor documents reveal that NVIDIA (NVDA.O) has committed $2 billion to Brookfield Asset Management's Global Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Fund. While this investment had been previously disclosed, the latest documents mark the first public disclosure of the specific amount. Last year, Brookfield stated that NVIDIA is one of the cornerstone investors in the Brookfield AI Infrastructure Fund, with the other cornerstone investor being the Kuwait Investment Authority.
The fund primarily invests in AI infrastructure development, including factories, dedicated behind-the-meter power solutions, and computing power infrastructure. New York-based Brookfield has become a significant private capital player in AI infrastructure development. The company is raising $10 billion for its AI Infrastructure Fund and plans to raise approximately $50 billion for its infrastructure business over the next two years, with AI being integrated into every investment strategy.
Additionally, Brookfield is also a member of the $500 billion AI computing infrastructure financing platform led by NVIDIA.
