Still sulking over the CLARITY Act stall? Cheer up.
The SEC just issued an "Innovation Exemption". It is a temporary sandbox opening the door to on-chain US stocks:
- Temporary relief for venues trading tokenized stocks via AMMs and liquidity pools.
- Strict limits on volume and symbols while the SEC gathers data for permanent rules.
- Guarantees full shareholder rights (voting and dividends) and requires audited public smart contracts.
This week is not all bad news. You just have to look past Congress to see regulators quietly testing real-world rails.
