AI Computing Power Company Crusoe Completes $3.9 Billion Series F Financing, Valuation Reaches $30.9 Billion

According to The Wall Street Journal, AI computing power infrastructure startup Crusoe has completed a $3.9 billion Series F financing, with a post-money valuation of approximately $30.9 billion. This round of financing was jointly led by Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, and Mubadala Investment Company, with participation from Founders Fund, TPG, and Qatar Investment Authority (QIA). Crusoe, founded in 2018, initially provided services to cryptocurrency miners before pivoting to AI computing power infrastructure. Previously, the company spent two years building a large-scale AI data center in Abilene, Texas, to provide computing power for OpenAI and Microsoft.
