When I decided to do this 'public service,' my thought process was simple: I just wanted more friends to experience Token 2049. When I posted about it, I was actually super nervous and had already prepared myself for the possibility that no one would participate. But to my surprise, within less than 24 hours, we already had one confirmed sponsor and three or four others still in discussions. First off, huge thanks to @Bitget_zh for being the first to reach out to me. They offered incredibly generous terms—not only are they willing to sponsor $1,500 for one lucky participant, but they’ve also given me full authority to choose who that person will be. Honestly, when I calculated it myself, $1,000 would’ve been enough, but Bitget insisted on ensuring the budget was more than sufficient. Not only will they cover flights and accommodation for the trip to Singapore, but they’ll also invite this lucky participant to attend Bitget’s 8th Anniversary event on October 8th as a special guest. Later, I’ll use this post to help Bitget find someone to sponsor. Since this is for a regular participant, all the big names out there are definitely not eligible for selection. I’m not sure if we’ll find a true newcomer, but I’ll try to keep it as fair as possible. The selection process will involve participants introducing themselves and leaving their Bitget UID, and I’ll use AI to randomly pick someone. One more thing to clarify: this sponsorship is specifically for travel expenses to Singapore. It will only be valid if the selected participant comes to Singapore and fully participates in Bitget’s 8th Anniversary event. After the event, the $1,500 USDT sponsorship fee will be paid. If your total expenses exceed $1,500, the extra is on you. If your expenses are less than $1,500, you get to keep the difference. I’ll pin this post until Sunday, and anyone who signs up while it’s pinned will be considered. Selection will begin on Sunday.
