Odyssey-3, a new world model. It can control robots, power humanoid robots, drive cars (even on Indian roads!), train AI, pilot drones, and even play video games, all while supporting RSI self-improvement. Odyssey-3 was founded in 2023 by Oliver Cameron, co-founder and CEO of the autonomous driving startup Voyage, and Jeff Hawke (CTO), an early engineer at the UK autonomous driving company Wayve. They raised $310 million three months ago. Odyssey-3 can create environments where AI can 'live' (video-generated training environments), take actions, and learn from the consequences. These worlds support a recursive learning system, where one intelligence operates within another, pushing each other to grow stronger. This is the RSI prototype of a world model. It might still be early days, but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
