AI startup Arcee AI has completed a $150 million Series B financing round, with a valuation reaching $1 billion. The round was led by Vista Equity Partners, Cambium Capital, and Emergence Capital, with participation from Microsoft M12, Hitachi, Wipro, and others. Arcee AI was founded by Mark McQuade in 2023 and focuses on developing open-weight models. The company has spent approximately $20 million to train four open-weight models, including the 400-billion-parameter model Trinity Large.
