According to Bloomberg, Germany's largest commercial bank, Deutsche Bank AG, has announced the official launch of its crypto asset custody service. The service is expected to go live later this year after receiving final regulatory approval, allowing institutional and corporate clients to store and transfer Bitcoin, Ethereum, and selected stablecoins within its compliance framework. Future plans include expanding to tokenized financial instruments. Gerald Podobnik, Co-Head of Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank, stated that digital assets are an important complement to the traditional financial system rather than a replacement. The first phase of the service will initially be available to domestic clients in Germany. Additionally, the service primarily targets asset management institutions, hedge funds, custodial intermediaries, sovereign wealth funds, and corporate clients engaged in blockchain-related businesses. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/news-68482
