Risks such as global financial crises, supply chain disruptions, and cybersecurity threats have also risen in ranking. Meanwhile, environmental risks such as biodiversity degradation, widespread pollution, and resource scarcity have seen a decline in ranking. However, challenges like climate inaction, natural disasters, and resource shortages continue to be regarded as significant issues. The report is based on a survey of approximately 1,300 respondents from governments, businesses, civil society, and the United Nations system.
