Is quantum computing nearer than we think?
Scientists just achieved quantum teleportation across 100 simultaneous channels, demonstrated by transmitting a 100-pixel image.
To be clear: nothing physically moved.
What actually happened:
→ Quantum STATES were transferred using entangled light
→ Across 100 independent channels at once
→ All-optical system, no separate processing per channel
This is a bandwidth breakthrough.
Instead of one channel at a time, quantum networks can now scale in parallel.

The team is already working toward 1,000 channels.
This doesn't crack encryption. That's a different machine, a different race.
But quantum computing is a puzzle with many pieces. And another one just dropped.
Meanwhile, the crypto conversation is already running in parallel.
Adam Back (Blockstream) is proposing optional quantum-resistant upgrades for Bitcoin. Ethereum stood up a dedicated post-quantum security team this year. Bitcoin developers are actively debating BIP-360 and BIP-361.
Let's just hope the guardrails are up in time. 🤞
