According to CNBC, Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren, the ranking member of the Senate Banking Committee, plans to speak out against the CLARITY Act in the Senate. A critical procedural vote on the bill is expected to take place Tuesday afternoon, requiring at least 60 votes to advance. Recently, Republicans released a revised version of the text, adding ethics provisions that prohibit the President and other senior government officials from issuing digital assets and allow state attorneys general to enforce related regulations. Warren believes the new provisions still have significant loopholes, including allowing government officials to limit enforcement and failing to cover the Trump family's World Liberty Financial and its bank-licensed operations. She also plans to seek unanimous consent to pass another bill that would restrict the President, Vice President, members of Congress, and their immediate family members from applying for banking licenses, as well as revoke licenses issued to such individuals since January 20, 2025. However, this proposal is unlikely to gain support in the Republican-controlled Senate. https://(wublock123.com)/news/warren-to-block-clarity-act-senate-procedural-vote-68387
