Data Shows Single-Day Traffic in the Strait of Hormuz Drops to Single Digits

According to Golden Finance, on September 15, ship tracking information revealed that the single-day vessel traffic in the Strait of Hormuz over the past weekend was only in single digits, lower than the daily average of 14 vessels over the past 10 days. Based on ship tracking data from September 14, over the weekend, 4 vessels exited the Strait of Hormuz, including ships carrying energy; 10 cargo ships entered the Strait of Hormuz. However, these figures do not include vessels that turned off their automatic identification systems while passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, according to the UK Maritime Trade Operations office, a vessel was struck by an unidentified flying object while passing through the Strait of Hormuz on September 13. The extent of damage to the ship and the condition of the crew remain unclear.
