[Cathie Wood Increases $27.9 Million in Meta Stock Holdings]
According to Sina Finance, Ark Investment Management CEO Cathie Wood, known as "Wood Sister," spent $27.9 million last week to purchase Meta stock, betting on the company's continued focus on artificial intelligence development. Wood focuses on high-tech sectors such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, biomedical technology, and robotics. She believes these companies have strong growth potential, though the high volatility of their stock prices can lead to significant fluctuations in Ark Fund's net asset value.
Ark's daily trading data shows that on September 9, Wood's Ark Fund collectively purchased 43,091 shares of Meta, valued at approximately $27.9 million. Meanwhile, on September 9 and 11, Wood sold a total of 86,531 shares of Alphabet, Google's parent company, worth approximately $28.7 million.
