[KULR Sells Final 764 Bitcoins, Exits Bitcoin Treasury Strategy]
According to CryptoSlate, battery technology company KULR sold its final 764 Bitcoins between August 20 and September 11 at an average price of approximately $76,633, generating around $58.6 million. As of September 11, its Bitcoin holdings are zero. This sale marks KULR's exit from its Bitcoin reserve and mining strategy. Previously, the company disclosed in August that it had sold approximately 333 Bitcoins after June 30, with around $20 million used to repay Coinbase debt. The filing did not disclose the cost basis, realized gains or losses, or the intended use of the funds, nor did it rule out the possibility of repurchasing in the future. The funds will be prioritized for the core energy business.
