US Chip Stocks Drop in After-Hours Trading, SK Hynix Falls Over 4%

Golden Finance reported that on September 13, US chip stocks collectively declined in after-hours trading. As of 22:12 Beijing time, SK Hynix fell below $185 in after-hours trading, dropping more than 4% intraday. Micron Technology, Seagate Technology, and SanDisk all fell over 3% in after-hours trading, while Nvidia dropped more than 2%. According to China Fund News, on Sunday, Anthropics CEO Dario Amodei stated that the company will introduce more safety measures, including engaging independent third-party evaluation agencies, and called on the entire industry to slow down the development of the most advanced AI models. OpenAI founder Sam Altman publicly supported this proposal, and xAI founder Elon Musk also commented, "Dario is right." Following yesterday's sharp decline, on September 13, international crude oil prices rebounded in after-hours trading.
