Senate Republicans dropped a revised Clarity Act draft ahead of the Sept. 15 cloture vote. Here's what changed:
• Non-decentralized DeFi protocols must now register with the CFTC, with CFTC and Treasury jointly writing the rules
• DeFi provisions narrowed to spot trading only
• Credit unions get clear guidance on crypto services
