According to Cryptoslate, the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has proposed a draft of new stablecoin regulations. Licensed crypto platforms will only allow customers to deposit or withdraw stablecoins from/to their own verified accounts or wallets, prohibiting transfers to others' wallets. Additionally, a daily limit of 5 million baht (approximately $150,000) per person per platform has been set for deposits and withdrawals. The proposal is currently in the public consultation phase (comments due by September 25) and has not yet come into effect.
