OKX prediction events have come a long way—from blowing up during the World Cup to now finally supporting financial events.
Take this September's FOMC meeting, for example. The current probability of a rate hike is already at 80%, while the chance of no change is only around 20%.
This prediction isn’t something OKX came up with—it’s the result of all participants trading and forming a consensus.
Opinions themselves don’t have a price, but when opinions can be traded, the price becomes the consensus.
So, the expectation for a rate hike in September is almost fully priced in. A hike is within expectations; no hike would be unexpected.
And assets like BTC, ETH, and other cryptos are particularly sensitive to interest rates. It’s not hard to imagine that if an unexpected event occurs, the volatility could be significant.
So, the question is: how should you place your bets?
Right now, the struggle is always about never having enough XP! Every time I go all-in, lose once, and I’m back to square one, collecting welfare again, and then going all-in again...
Also, I’ve been wanting to rant about this for a while—OKX put the prediction feature in such a ridiculously “hidden” spot.
It’s in the top right corner of the “Trade” section, behind Flash Deals, Spot, Futures, Options, and Strategies. How “unloved” can it get...
Newbies probably won’t even be able to find it.
