[Bonk Guy Responds to Buying EMBER: Started Accumulating at Around $7 Million Market Cap, Optimistic About Its Launchpad Data Growth] Odaily Planet Daily News – Crypto trader Bonk Guy posted on the X platform to address recent controversies surrounding his purchase of EMBER and explained his accumulation logic. Bonk Guy stated that he first noticed the project when EMBER had a market cap of approximately $3 million but did not buy in. After observing for a day and seeing rapid growth in platform data, he revisited the project and began buying from a market cap of around $7 million, continuing until it reached $20 million. Bonk Guy explained that EMBER is the primary Launchpad based on Meteora, supporting the use of SOL, USDC, and over 150 tokenized stocks as pairing assets for issuing tokens. It employs Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve technology and offers features such as token tax allocation, Daily Jackpots, and DAO governance. According to his disclosure, Ember recorded approximately $51.7 million in trading volume, $561,000 in fees, issued 2,041 tokens, and had over 41,800 unique token-holding addresses and 149,000 Solana transactions within three days of launch. Bonk Guy compared his purchase of Ember to his earlier trade with PONS, noting that he first noticed PONS when its market cap was below $1 million but ignored it for an entire day. He later started buying when its market cap reached around $4 million. He emphasized that observing the real usage data of the Launchpad's underlying infrastructure is more important than whether a popular token has already emerged. Additionally, Bonk Guy stated that both Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain have multiple successful Launchpads, and Solana's meme trading ecosystem has been developing for a longer time. Therefore, there is no reason to believe Solana can only accommodate one successful Launchpad. He also mentioned that his trades are not based on market consensus. Some of his most successful trades in the past often came from identifying opportunities before the market formed a consensus; once everyone agrees, the asymmetric upside potential is usually significantly reduced. Regarding recent controversies, Bonk Guy clarified that the claim of "EMBER having over 50% Bubblemaps address clusters" has been refuted by Bubblemaps. He also noted that his previous statement that Ember was "launched by Meteora" was inaccurate; a more precise description is that Ember is based on Meteora-related infrastructure and has now been included on Meteora's ecosystem page. Bonk Guy emphasized that he has no relationship with the Ember team and that EMBER is purely a personal trade for him.
