[ZachXBT: Revolut Suspected of Failing to Identify Fraudulent Request, Leading to Leakage of Some Users' Personal Information]
According to an article posted by on-chain investigator ZachXBT on his personal channel, Revolut is suspected of failing to identify a fraudulent request, resulting in the leakage of some users' personally identifiable information (PII). The leaked information includes copies of passports or driver's licenses, verification selfies, account statements, IBANs, withdrawal records, complete transaction histories including Bitcoin transactions, as well as names, dates of birth, occupations, home addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers. ZachXBT stated that the number of users affected by this incident may be limited, but it appears to target high-net-worth individuals. Reportedly, multiple Revolut users received related security alert emails yesterday.
