A diamond-covered, gold-plated Beretta pistol reportedly owned by notorious drug cartel leader Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán. The diamond-studded, gold-plated Beretta 92F 9mm pistol linked to former Sinaloa Cartel leader Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán is now part of the DEA Museum’s collection. Federal agents recovered the elaborately decorated firearm from one of Guzmán’s safe houses before his final arrest. Museum officials believe it may have been commissioned for two of his children. With its matching gold-and-diamond suppressor attached, the pistol measures about 16 inches long. Its extravagant design represents the displays of wealth and status often associated with powerful cartel figures.
