WuShuo has learned that former FTX/Alameda executive Caroline Ellison has joined the philanthropic funding platform Manifund, where she is responsible for developing the funding platform and researching more effective ways to allocate charitable funds. Manifund co-founder Austin Chen stated that Ellison started on a trial basis under the alias 'Carol' on July 13 and transitioned to full-time on August 10. Prior to this, she had already been involved in platform development, operations, and user support, as well as building reconciliation tools, uncovering multiple erroneous transactions in the database ranging from five to six figures. Chen mentioned that although Ellison was involved in FTX-related illegal activities, she has pleaded guilty, cooperated with creditors for recovery, and served her sentence. The team decided to give her an opportunity to continue working. Ellison expressed remorse for her actions at Alameda/FTX and stated that she will continue to handle technical infrastructure, operations, and customer support at Manifund. https://(wublock123.com)/news/news-68270
