We broke ground today for the Greater Bernard Lodge Housing Development in St. Catherine, where 700 housing solutions will be constructed across two parcels of land. The National Housing Trust (NHT), in partnership with the Housing Agency of Jamaica (HAJ), is working with M&M Jamaica Limited to deliver these homes under the NHT’s Developers Programme. This programme allows us to bring private-sector expertise and resources into the delivery of housing for NHT contributors, helping to expand the supply of homes available to Jamaican families. I look forward to seeing this development take shape and, in time, welcoming 700 families into homes they can proudly call their own.(Andrew Holness)
