Monitoring by the PPP prediction market tool shows that before the release of the CPI, the probability of 'the Federal Reserve raising rates by 25 basis points in September' on Polymarket has risen to 61%, up 8% in 24 hours; the probability of no change has dropped to 40%, down 8% in 24 hours. The U.S. Department of Labor will release the August CPI data tonight at 20:30 Beijing time. The market expects overall CPI to increase by 0.4% month-on-month and 3.4% year-on-year; core CPI is expected to rise by 0.2% month-on-month and 2.4% year-on-year.
