WALL STREET HIKES OIL FORECASTS AS GULF DISRUPTIONS PERSIST
Major banks are raising Brent forecasts as prolonged Middle East shipping disruptions tighten global oil supply.
HSBC sees Brent averaging $90 in 2026, while Goldman warns prices could exceed $120 if Gulf output remains severely disrupted. BofA sees an even more extreme scenario reaching $150 if energy infrastructure suffers major damage.
Oil is now on track to finish the week above $100 a barrel.(*Walter Bloomberg)
