U.S. DIESEL BREAKS $6 FOR FIRST TIME EVER
The U.S. average diesel price surpassed $6 a gallon for the first time, according to GasBuddy, up nearly 60% since the Iran war began.
Supply remains extremely tight, with U.S. diesel inventories 13% below their five-year average, while Brent surged to $107.63.
Record fuel costs risk reigniting inflation across U.S. supply chains ahead of the midterms.(*Walter Bloomberg)
