Good night Thursday, brothers
Today is my 618th day of using OKX for regular investment, and I have already checked in for it.
Today PPI landed:
The Producer Price Index for August increased by 0.4% month on month, which is basically in line with expectations; Compared to the previous month, the year-on-year increase was 5.4%. Energy is the main driving force, with finished energy products rising by 4.2%, and the commodity end being driven by oil prices. The core PPI was 0.2% month on month, slightly softer than expected.
After reading it, the market is more concerned about "upstream prices are heating up again", and the expectation of interest rate hikes has been revised upwards. The opening of the US stock market is weak, and the pressure on technology stocks is even greater.
BTC followed the macro trend and fell from around 79000 yesterday to around 77000.
Tomorrow there will be CPI, that's the real pricing data for this week. PPI is just a warm-up, don't write today's pullback as a conclusion for now.
On the 618th day of regular investment, the most challenging aspect of inflation week is not understanding the numbers, but being able to buy according to the original plan after reading the numbers.
When the data gets hot, I want to stop, when the data gets cold, I want to add, and in the end, all actions are led by the calendar. If the share had been set long ago, it would still be the same amount to buy today.
I only use OKX for my regular investment
