The House as early as Monday will consider the final version of legislation reauthorizing federal funding for lyme and other tick-borne disease for five years named after the late Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC) who passed away in 2019 due to complications from the Powassan tick-borne virus. The Senate unanimously passed the bill last month.(Craig Caplan)
