Why is Ponzi placed right in the center of my banner? Someone asked me today who the three people on my banner are, so I figured I’d take this chance to explain. Actually, they can represent the three main trading styles I’ve experienced so far. From left to right: 1️⃣ The god of chart trading — Jesse Livermore 2️⃣ The father of speculation and arbitrage — Charles Ponzi 3️⃣ The master of fundamental analysis — Warren Buffett So why did I deliberately put 'Old Master Ponzi' in the middle and make him the biggest? It’s to constantly remind myself: The financial market, at its core, is just a game of deception and passing the buck. You think you’re searching for value and seizing opportunities, but often, you’re just looking for the next person willing to take over your position. Profit is always profit, but the real question is: who ultimately pays for that profit?
