Starknet v0.14.4 is coming. A major unlock for developers: applications will be able to prove logic that exceeds regular transaction limits, paying for it as a proof rather than as execution. This upgrade includes: - Block-sized proofs: SNIP-36 expands to support up to 1.1B L2 gas of computation in a single proven transaction. - Pricing adjustments: gas weights better reflect actual costs, with less than 1% pricing impact for the vast majority of transactions based on recent mainnet traffic. - Gateway updates: legacy endpoints will be removed, with updated requirements for class queries and preconfirmed blocks. - Sequencer improvements: the block committer moves into Apollo. - Node upgrades: upgrade to Pathfinder v0.24.0 or Juno v0.16.6 before the network upgrade. - Prover migration: SNIP-36 provers must upgrade alongside the network.
