According to CoinDesk, the Singapore Exchange (SGX) has received authorization from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) under Regulation 48.10, allowing U.S. institutional investors to directly trade its BTC and ETH perpetual futures. SGX's crypto perpetual futures were launched in November 2025, with a total trading volume of approximately $5.8 billion to date. SGX stated that it is currently working on onboarding U.S. clearing members to connect their clients, and more U.S. institutions are expected to participate in the next one to two months.
