[Coinbase CEO: Bitcoin Price Cycle 'Has Bottomed Out']
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on September 10, Coinbase Global Inc. CEO Brian Armstrong gave an interview in Singapore on Thursday. 'Bitcoin operates on a four-year cycle. Personally, I believe the current Bitcoin price has already bottomed out. With the next halving event approaching, prices are likely to start rising in the next one to two years.'
He stated that the crypto industry's 'regulatory clarity is improving significantly,' and the 'Clear Act' is 'nearing its final implementation stage.' 'This will be a significant milestone for the crypto space. Frankly, even if the act doesn't pass, U.S. regulators, namely the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), have already indicated that they are prepared to introduce clear rules regardless. So I believe that within the next one to two weeks, the relevant rules will either be introduced by the Senate or issued by regulatory agencies.'
He expressed hope that tokenized stocks could be launched in the U.S. 'very soon.' 'We are very optimistic about stablecoin payments. This is one of the core trends I am particularly excited about. In addition, there is tokenization of stocks and various assets, prediction markets, and smart agent finance. I believe these four directions will be the mainstream trends I am most confident in by 2027.'
