[Trezor: Third-Party Email Service Provider Hacked] BlockBeats News, September 10 – Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor officially disclosed that its third-party email service provider was hacked, and phishing emails are currently circulating. Trezor clarified that these emails were not sent by the company and has urgently taken down the related domain while launching an investigation. Users are advised not to click on any suspicious links. Previously, on August 13, Trezor revealed that its fulfillment partner ShipMonk experienced a data breach, exposing the personal data of 13,689 Trezor customers. Among them, the full names, phone numbers, emails, and shipping addresses of 11,742 individuals were stolen, while the names, cities, and emails of 1,947 individuals were leaked. Trezor's own systems were not compromised, and devices, private keys, and wallet backups remain unaffected. The scope of the breach is currently under control. [Original Link]
