[Trezor Third-Party Email Service Provider Hacked, Phishing Emails Masquerading as Official Communications]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on September 10, Trezor's official X account (@Trezor) disclosed that its third-party email service provider had been hacked. A phishing email titled 'Critical Security Alert: STM32 Entropy Vulnerability' is currently circulating. Trezor clarified that the email was not sent by them, has urgently taken down the related domain, and launched an investigation.
A few days prior, Trezor also experienced a customer data breach, with approximately 67,000 users' names, home addresses, and email addresses stolen. Trezor reminds users not to click on any suspicious links and never to disclose their wallet recovery phrases to anyone.
