THE BLOCK: The Hyperliquid Policy Center is pressing a D.C. court to dismiss a lawsuit brought by the world's largest derivatives marketplace, CME, against the CFTC over allowing perpetual futures to trade in the U.S.
"If CME prevails, every product that the CFTC approves will invite litigation from incumbents who prefer the status quo, and the pace of progress in the U.S. futures markets will slow to a crawl," HPC said Thursday. "The consequences would be disastrous."(The Block)
