Algorand Foundation Appoints William Herkelrath as New CEO

The Algorand Foundation has appointed William Herkelrath as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Staci Warden. William Herkelrath previously held positions at Chainlink and Curv, and co-founded K3 Labs. He assumed the role on August 31. Algorand plans to advance institutional business and post-quantum security initiatives, aiming to achieve full quantum resistance by 2028.
