[A News Trader Spent $36,000 on Bribes and Gas Fees to Front-Run Buying NiuLai, Ended Up Losing $14,000]
According to on-chain analyst Ember's monitoring, a news trader paid $36,000 in node bribes and gas fees to front-run a trade after the NiuLai token listing announcement, ultimately incurring a $14,000 loss. The trader paid 42.4 BNB ($31,000) in bribes to BNB48 Club and used 200 BNB ($150,000) to purchase 1.422 million NiuLai tokens (priced at $0.10 each), while also spending 6.87 BNB ($5,150) on gas fees. Subsequently, they sold all the tokens at $0.12 each, converting them into 172,000 USDC. The trade generated a profit of $22,000, but after deducting the bribes and gas fees, the net loss amounted to $14,000.
